Birthday Weekend

Friday night:

Jameson and I went to Alexander's Steakhouse.  Yummyyy and pricey.  Our French waiter man was very nice.  I tried not to fill up on the appetizers but it was impossible!  Parmesean truffle fries and Kumamoto fresh oysters.  Got the NY bone-in but next time wanna get the prime rib.  Ended the meal with what I was waiting for... cotton candy! aka cloud of sugar.

Saturday night:

Dinner with the girls and Chris at Poleng Lounge.  Looks ghetto from the outside but it's actually a pretty big place.  The food was mediocre and small portions.  Predrank at Grace and Jauch's.  Went to Manor West.  What a good change from the old Boss!  The place is very roomy and they played good music (top 40).  Getting a table would be nice here.  Too bad other friends couldn't get in, but I still had a good time while I was there.

Sunday:

Pho at this place in Fremont I keep forgetting the name of.  They have awesome egg rolls.  [EDIT: This restaurant is in Milpitas and it's called Vung Tau II.  You will love their crunchy and chewy egg rolls!]  Then Avatar.  For dinner, homemade turkey burgers!  Complete with a runny egg on top!  Mmmm.

Weekend Recap

Friday:
Taco night at Jameson's.  The best homemade tacos ever!  Then after a lot of loitering, we finally made it to Loft.  Same ol.  Overheard a girl saying it was her 21st birthday.  Jeeeeeeeez, way to make me feel old.

Saturday:
Pho Kim Long.  The interior has changed for the better.  Yummy in my tummy.  Afterwards, Sue and I did most of our Christmas shopping.  Hurray!  No more last minuteness for me.

Saturday night:
Xanh in Mountain View for Elaine's birthday dinner.  This place has also changed for the better.  There are multiple rooms for people to eat.  There is also a bar/lounge with a DJ.  I'd definitely come back to eat or party here.  Anyways, started to feel that sicky feeling so I left early.  Better not get sick for my birthday weekend! :(

Weekend Recap

Friday night:
Dinner with Jameson's dad at Tanto.  Soooo yummy!  I never thought chicken liver would taste so good.  All the dishes here are small and cute.  It's apparently a hot spot for the asian businessmen crowd as I was one of 3 girls in there haha.

Saturday:
Brunch with Sue at Pizza Antica at Santana Row.  We had the cream of mushroom soup, fall chopped salad, and potato ricotta gnocchi.  And BREAD of course!  Pretty good food but our clothes smelled funny afterwards.

Saturday Night:
Predrinking at Clarence's.  It took me days to learn the asian dice game but I love it now!!  Went to Temple in SF for a destructive night.  But an awesome destructive night!  I ruined my dress by rubbing against the pillars too much.  How do you get rid of those little fuzzy balls that form on cotton?? Haha I just can't stay away from pillars!

Black Friday Night

Had dinner with Jameson at Ocean Blue Sushi Club on El Camino.  We accidently stumbled upon this restaurant but I'm so glad we did!  Soooo delicious and the dishes were so aesthetically pleasing too.  Birthday dinner with the girls here next month!

Started the night with a little predrinky at Clarenzo's.  Not for me though cuz JD is blechhh.  Went to b412 in PA and met up with Peter, Anthony and Tang.  Turned out to be a Lynbrook and MSJ reunion.  Crowded and fun.  Very good spinning by Jerry.  Gma and I took turns buying grey goose shots for each other.  Richard had lots of fun and didn't want to leave. :P

Afterwards, Clarenzo, Jameson and I went to McDonald's for munchies and they freakin forgot our fries! sooo sad.  Note to self: Don't be lazy and check the food before leaving.

Thanksgiving Eve

People went to VIP.  I fell asleep before 9 PM and didn't make it out.  FAIL by grandma!

What Did We Do Last Year?!

One question sparked the idea for this blog: Where did we go to have fun on the night before Thanksgiving last year?  It's "the biggest bar night of the year" in Clarence's words, so I'm sure we were in the right mindset, but no one seems to remember.  Thus, Clarence's ingenious idea to keep a blog purely to document our nights out (who, what, where, and which delicious foods!).  Maybe some pictures too if I'm not feeling lazy.

Our memories are only going to get worse so what a good way to remember good nights!

The first real post coming soon! :)
